Correspondence
If you contact SilentAds, we receive the information in your message and the contact details you use.
Website and security data
Our website and infrastructure providers may generate normal technical records needed to deliver and secure the service, such as IP address, request time, requested page, browser or user-agent information, and diagnostic or security events.
Publisher connections
When a WordPress administrator starts a connection, SilentAds processes the site URL and name, technical identifiers needed to establish and authenticate the connection, the installed SilentAds plugin version, and whether monetization is enabled or paused. This operational state is reported only by an authenticated connected plugin. Connection secrets are not included in website analytics.
Why we use personal data
- Correspondence: to respond to publisher, partner, support and other enquiries. We rely on our legitimate interests in communicating about SilentAds and, where applicable, taking steps you request before a possible service relationship.
- Website operation and security: to deliver the site, diagnose faults, prevent abuse and protect SilentAds and its visitors. We rely on our legitimate interests in operating a secure, reliable service.
- Publisher connections: to provide the connection workflow you request and operate a secure publisher connection. We rely on steps requested by you and our legitimate interests in providing and securing the service.
- Analytics: to understand use of the public website and improve it, but only after you consent to optional analytics.
- Legal obligations: to keep or disclose information where applicable law requires us to do so.
Data minimisation
Please do not send personal information that is not relevant to your enquiry or needed to operate your publisher connection.
Google Analytics
SilentAds uses Google Analytics 4 on normal public pages only after you choose “Accept analytics”. Before that choice, SilentAds does not load the Google Analytics script or send normal analytics pageviews or events. Analytics is not used on the /connect or /brand routes.
When enabled, Google Analytics may process information such as pages viewed, session activity, browser and device information, approximate location derived from network information, and identifiers stored in first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. SilentAds disables advertising storage, Google Signals and advertising-personalisation signals in its website configuration.
Our first-party consent preference records whether you accepted or rejected analytics for up to 180 days. You can change that choice at any time. Rejecting or later withdrawing consent stops future collection and triggers an attempt to remove SilentAds-domain Google Analytics cookies.
Service providers and international processing
SilentAds uses Railway for website, backend and database infrastructure; Google Analytics for optional website measurement when consent is given; and Google Workspace for email.
Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, appropriate transfer safeguards are used where required by data-protection law, such as an applicable adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards.
SilentAds does not sell personal information and does not use a support, publisher or partner enquiry to enrol you automatically in an unrelated general marketing newsletter.
How long we keep information
Connection information is kept for as long as needed to establish and operate the connection, resolve issues and meet legal requirements. Correspondence and technical records are kept according to their purpose, operational need and applicable legal obligations.
When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised where appropriate. Google Analytics data is retained according to the configured Analytics retention settings and your consent choices.
Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access your personal data, correct it, ask for deletion, restrict or object to processing, and receive portable data where applicable. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
SilentAds does not use solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects for publisher enquiries or connection requests.
